- 1 (18 ounce) box yellow cake mix, save 1 cup for topping (2-layer)
- 1/2 cup butter or 1/2 cup margarine, softened
- 1 egg
- 1 (16 ounce) can pumpkin
- 3 eggs
- 2/3 cup evaporated milk
- 2 teaspoons cinnamon
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup reserved cake mix
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup butter or 1/4 cup margarine, softened
- 1 cup pecans
Recipe
- 1 mix together cake mix (except 1 cup), 1/2 cup butter or margarine, softened, and 1 egg and press into 9x13-inch pan.
- 2 mix filling: 1 can (16oz) pumpkin, 3 eggs, 2/3 cup evaporated milk, 2 teaspoons cinnamon, 1 cup sugar. mix filling and pour over crust.
- 3 topping:.
- 4 mix 1 cup reserved cake mix, 1/2 cup sugar, 1/4 cup butter. mixture will be crumbly. sprinkle over filling. put on pecans.
- 5 bake at 350f for 1 hour and 15 minutes.
