Pumpkin Pudding

Ingredients

  • Servings: 8
  • 15 ounces canned pumpkin
  • 3 eggs
  • 2 cups buttermilk
  • 3 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground allspice

Recipe

  • 1 preheat oven to 375 degrees f.
  • 2 mix the first 4 ingredients together in a medium bowl.
  • 3 combine remaining ingredients in a large bowl.
  • 4 add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients, and whisk together.
  • 5 pour into a greased 2 1/2 quart souffle dish.
  • 6 bake for about 1 hour, or until slightly browned.
  • 7 may serve with caramel sauce.
