Harvest Pumpkin Pie

Ingredients

  • Servings: 8
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar, lightly packed
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1/4 teaspoon ginger
  • 2 eggs, lightly beaten
  • 1 1/2 cups pumpkin (york)
  • 1 1/2 cups light cream
  • 1 (9 inch) deep dish pie shells

Recipe

  • 1 mix together brown sugar and seasonings. stir in remaining filling ingredients and beat until smooth. pour into shell.
  • 2 bake at 450f for 10 minutes. lower temperature to 350f and bake for a further 40-45 minutes.
