- 3 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 teaspoons baking soda
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 3 teaspoons pumpkin pie spice
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 3 cups sugar
- 1 cup vegetable oil
- 4 eggs
- 1 (15 ounce) can pumpkin puree
- 1/2 cup water
Recipe
- 1 preheat oven to 350 degrees f (175 degrees c).
- 2 grease two 9x5 inch loaf pans.
- 3 sift together the flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt, and pumpkin pie spice; set aside.
- 4 in a large bowl, beat together sugar, oil, eggs, and pumpkin.
- 5 stir in flour mixture alternately with water.
- 6 divide batter evenly between the prepared pans.
- 7 bake in the preheated oven for 60 to 70 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
