Pumpkin-apple Butter

Ingredients
- 2 (15 ounce) cans pumpkin
- 2 cups applesauce
- 2/3 cup brown sugar, packed
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1 1/2 tablespoons ginger, grated
Recipe
- 1 in saucepan over medium heat, combine all ingredients until blended.
- 2 bring to a boil, stirring continuously.
- 3 reduce heat to low and simmer, uncovered, stirring often, for 30 min., or until very thick.
- 4 cool; spoon into airtight containers.
- 5 keep refrigerated up to 2 weeks.
