Pumpkin Turnovers German Plachinda

Ingredients

  • 3 eggs
  • 1 cup cream
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup oil
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • flour
  • 4 cups pumpkin
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon ginger
  • 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Recipe

  • 1 use enough flour to make the dough stiff.
  • 2 mix well. take portions of dough (about 1/4 cup), roll out to about 6-7" in diameter.
  • 3 put 2-3 tablespoons filling on half of diameter. fold the other half over filling.
  • 4 crimp dough around edge. sprinkle with sugar and bake at 350 about 20 minutes or until nicely browned.
