Pumpkin Torte

Ingredients

  • Servings: 10
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 (15 ounce) can libby's canned pumpkin
  • 1 (12 fluid ounce) can carnation evaporated milk
  • 9 ounces yellow cake mix (1/2 box)
  • 1/2 cup pecans
  • 1/2 cup melted butter

Recipe

  • 1 mix sugar, salt, cinnamon, ginger and cloves in small bowl. beat eggs in large bowl. stir in pumpkin and sugar-spice mixture. gradually stir in evaporated milk.
  • 2 place in 9x13 pan.
  • 3 sprinkle 1/2 or more of the yellow cake mix on top.
  • 4 sprinkle with pecans.
  • 5 drizzle the melted stick of butter on top of pecans.
  • 6 bake for 1 hour 350.
