Jack O'lantern Biscuits Taste Of Home

Total Time: 35 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 20 mins

Ingredients

  • 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 3 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 3/4 cup butter, cubed (cold butter)
  • 15 3/4 ounces sweet potatoes, drained and mashed
  • 1/2 cup half-and-half cream

Recipe

  • 1 in a large bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, and salt.
  • 2 cut in butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  • 3 in a small bowl, combine sweet potatoes and cream until smooth. add to dry ingredients just until moistened.
  • 4 turn onto a lightly floured surface and knead 8 to 10 times.
