Homemade Granola

Total Time: 55 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 40 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 12
  • 3 cups rolled oats
  • 1 cup oat bran
  • 1 cup crushed almonds
  • 1/2 cup whole grain quinoa
  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup shredded coconut
  • 1/2 cup sunflower seeds
  • 1/2 cup wheat germ
  • 3/4 cup unprocessed honey
  • 1/4 cup light molasses
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla
  • 1 cup green pumpkin seeds
  • 1/2 cup chopped dates
  • 1/2 cup dried cranberries
  • 1 tablespoon amaranth

Recipe

  • 1 preheat oven to 250.
  • 2 spread all ingredients except dates and cranberries on a cookie sheet (or 9 by 13 cake pan).
  • 3 stir until well mixed.
  • 4 bake for 20 minutes.
  • 5 stir well.
  • 6 bake another 20 minutes.
  • 7 when cooled, add the dried fruit.
