Mommy's Pumpkin Bread

Ingredients

  • Servings: 8
  • 3 cups sugar
  • 1 cup vegetable oil
  • 4 eggs, lightly beaten
  • 2 (16 ounce) cans unsweetened pumpkin puree
  • 3 1/2 cups flour
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 2 teaspoons baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1 teaspoon allspice
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon clove
  • 2/3 cup water

Recipe

  • 1 preheat oven- 350°.
  • 2 butter and flour 2 9x5 loaf pans.
  • 3 stir together sugar and oil.
  • 4 stir in eggs and pumpkin.
  • 5 combine dry ingredients in a bowle.
  • 6 blend dry and water into wet mixture
  • 7 (1/3 dry then ½ water the another 1/3 dry, so on).
  • 8 separate between two loaf pans
  • 9 bake 30-40 min or till cake tester comes out clean.
  • 10 let stand 10 minute.
  • 11 remove from pans and cool.
