Homemade Muesli

Ingredients

  • Servings: 2
  • 200 g oats
  • 200 g barley
  • 200 g rye flakes
  • 4 tablespoons wheat germ
  • 2 tablespoons sunflower seeds
  • 2 tablespoons pumpkin seeds
  • 3 tablespoons raisins or 3 tablespoons sultanas
  • 8 dried apricots, finely chopped

Recipe

  • 1 mix all ingredients together in a large storage container and keep in a cool place.
  • 2 add any other nuts, seeds or dried fruits you like.
  • 3 have a bowlful of this with fresh milk, natural yoghurt or soya milk.
  • 4 you may find this easier to digest if you leave your bowl of muesli to soak overnight in milk or apple juice.
