Pumpkin Pecan Pie

Total Time: 1 hr 5 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 50 mins

Ingredients

  • 3 beaten eggs
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1/2 teaspoon allspice
  • 1 1/2 cups pumpkin
  • 1 1/2 cups light cream, heated
  • 1 (9 inch) pie crusts
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 3/4 cup pecans

Recipe

  • 1 combine first 8 ingredients.
  • 2 add pumpkin and mix.
  • 3 add cream and mix well.
  • 4 pour into unbaked pie crust.
  • 5 bake at 450° for 10 minutes, then 350° for 20 minutes.
  • 6 mix together butter, brown sugar and pecans.
  • 7 remove pie from oven and cover pie with pecan mixture.
  • 8 return to oven and bake for 20 minutes more or until knife inserted in center comes out clean.
