Pumpkin Pecan Pie

Total Time: 1 hr 10 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 1 hr

Ingredients

  • 3 eggs
  • 2 cups pumpkin
  • 1/2 cup dark corn syrup
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 cup pecans (broken)
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 unbaked 9-inch pie shell

Recipe

  • 1 beat eggs well.
  • 2 add the pumpkin, corn syrup, and brown sugars, salt, vanilla, pecans and cinnamon and mix thoroughly.
  • 3 pour into pie shell and bake in a 425 degree oven for 5 minutes.
  • 4 reduce heat to 350 degrees and bake another 50-55 minutes, or until knife inserted in center of pie comes out clean.
