- 1/2 teaspoon garam masala
- 1/2 teaspoon ginger
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 2/3 cup sugar
- 15 ounces canned pumpkin
- 3/4 cup egg substitute
- 1 1/2 cups skim milk
- 1 ready-made pie crust
Recipe
- 1 preheat oven to 425°f.
- 2 combine garam masala, ginger, cinnamon, and sugar in a small bowl.
- 3 in a large bowl, combine pumpkin, sugar and spices, and egg substitute.
- 4 slowly mix in skim milk.
- 5 pour pumpkin filling into the ready-made pie crust.
- 6 bake at 425°f for 15 minutes, then lower heat to 350°f for 45-60 minutes. the pie is done when a knife inserted near the middle comes out clean.
