Frosted Pumpkin Squares

Ingredients
- 3/4 cup butter
- 2 cups sugar
- 1 (16 ounce) can pumpkin
- 4 eggs
- 2 cups flour
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1 cup walnuts, chopped
- 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese
- 1/3 cup butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 3 cups powdered sugar, sifted
Recipe
- 1 cake:.
- 2 mix butter ans sugar with an electric mixer on med. speed until light and fluffy. blend in pumpkin and eggs. mix in combined dry ingredients. stir in walnuts.
- 3 spread into greased and floured 15 by 10 by 1 inch baking pan.
- 4 bake at 350 for 30 to 35 minute or until wodden toothpick inserted in center comes out clean; cool.
- 5 frosting:.
- 6 mix cream cheese, butter and vanilla in large bowl with electric mixer until creamy. gradually add sugar, mixing well after each addition. spread onto cake. cut into squares.
