Healthy Tasty Granola

Ingredients
- 1/4 cup olives or 1/4 cup canola oil
- 1/2 cup honey
- 1 tablespoon vanilla
- 1/4 cup peanut butter (optional)
- 5 cups old fashioned oats
- 1 cup wheat flakes
- 1 cup rye flakes
- 1 cup flakes barley
- 1 cup sunflower seeds
- 1/2 cup pumpkin seeds
- 1/2 cup pecans or 1/2 cup slivered almonds
- 1/4 cup flaked coconut
- 1/2 cup roasted soybeans
- 1/2 cup wheat germ
- dried fruits such as raisins, dates, cranberries, etc...after baking
Recipe
- 1 mix oil, honey, vanilla, and peanut butter together.
- 2 pour the wet ingredients over the dry ingredients, (flakes, seeds, nuts, coconut, & wheat germ).
- 3 mix well until evenly coated.
- 4 pour mixture onto 2 large greased cookie sheets.
- 5 bake 250 degrees for 30 minutes.
- 6 stir well and bake for an additional 15 minutes or until golden brown.
- 7 after baking mix in your choice of desired dried fruits.
- 8 do not bake with the fruits in the mixture or you will think you put rocks in your granola.
