Mom T's Deluxe Pumpkin Custard

Ingredients
- 2 eggs
- 1 (16 ounce) can pumpkin
- 1 cup light cream
- 3/4 cup brown sugar, packed
- 1 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 cup pecans, chopped
- 1/4 cup brown sugar, packed
- 1 tablespoon butter, softened
Recipe
- 1 heat oven to 350 degrees.
- 2 beat custard ingredients until smooth. pour into 6 custard cups (6 oz).
- 3 mix topping ingredients. sprinkle over top of custard.
- 4 place cups into a 9x13" baking pan. pour very hot water into pan around cups to within 1/2" from tops of cups. bake for 20 minutes until knife inserted half way between edge and center comes out clean.
- 5 remove immediately.
- 6 serve with whipped cream if you like.
