Mom T's Deluxe Pumpkin Custard

Total Time: 30 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 20 mins

Ingredients

  • 2 eggs
  • 1 (16 ounce) can pumpkin
  • 1 cup light cream
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup pecans, chopped
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1 tablespoon butter, softened

Recipe

  • 1 heat oven to 350 degrees.
  • 2 beat custard ingredients until smooth. pour into 6 custard cups (6 oz).
  • 3 mix topping ingredients. sprinkle over top of custard.
  • 4 place cups into a 9x13" baking pan. pour very hot water into pan around cups to within 1/2" from tops of cups. bake for 20 minutes until knife inserted half way between edge and center comes out clean.
  • 5 remove immediately.
  • 6 serve with whipped cream if you like.
