Aussie Pumpkin Scones

Total Time: 20 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 15 mins

Ingredients

  • 2 cups self-raising flour
  • 1 tablespoon icing sugar
  • 1/2 cup cream
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2/3 cup cooked mashed pumpkin

Recipe

  • 1 combine all the ingredients in a large bowl and mix until well combined.
  • 2 turn out dough onto a floured surface and lightly press dough down to approximately 2 cm thickness.
  • 3 cut into rounds with a scone cutter (or use a small, clean empty tin).
  • 4 place on a greased baking tray.
  • 5 bake in a hot oven for approx 10-15 minutes or until golden brown.
