Pam's Pumpkin Pie

Total Time: 50 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 40 mins

Ingredients

  • 2 eggs (beaten)
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 1/2 cups pumpkin
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 1/2 cups evaporated milk
  • 1/4 teaspoon ginger

Recipe

  • 1 mix dry ingredients with the beaten eggs and evaporated milk.
  • 2 add pumpkin and mix well.
  • 3 fill a 9-inch unbaked pie shell and bake for 10 minutes at 450.
  • 4 reduce heat to 350 and bake for an additional 30 minutes.
  • 5 pie is done when a silver knife inserted half way between center and edge comes out clean.
  • 6 note: if you buy a pre-made crust make sure it's a deep one or you'll wind up with left-over pumpkin mix.
