Healthy Start

Ingredients

  • Servings: 1
  • 1/2 cup quinoa
  • 2 tablespoons raisins
  • 1 tablespoon sunflower seeds
  • 1 tablespoon pumpkin seeds
  • 1 banana
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon maple syrup
  • extra milk

Recipe

  • 1 mash the banana.
  • 2 place everything in a small saucepan, bring to the boil and stir continuously for a couple of minutes (the more you stir the creamier the porridge).
  • 3 serve drizzled with maple syrup and extra milk.
  • 4 note: recipezaar calculates 'quinoa'. 'quinoa flakes' are lighter(and without the associated bitterness that is experienced by newcomers) reducing the calories to 534 per person.
