- 1/2 cup quinoa
- 2 tablespoons raisins
- 1 tablespoon sunflower seeds
- 1 tablespoon pumpkin seeds
- 1 banana
- 1 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon maple syrup
- extra milk
Recipe
- 1 mash the banana.
- 2 place everything in a small saucepan, bring to the boil and stir continuously for a couple of minutes (the more you stir the creamier the porridge).
- 3 serve drizzled with maple syrup and extra milk.
- 4 note: recipezaar calculates 'quinoa'. 'quinoa flakes' are lighter(and without the associated bitterness that is experienced by newcomers) reducing the calories to 534 per person.
