La Madeleine Pumpkin Pie

Total Time: 1 hr Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 45 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 8
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon ginger
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon allspice
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 (1 lb) can solid-pack pumpkin
  • 1/4 cup corn syrup
  • 1 cup heavy cream, plus some (to garnish, if desired)
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 (10 inch) unbaked pie shells

Recipe

  • 1 preheat oven to 375°f.
  • 2 combine all dry ingredients in a bowl.
  • 3 in another bowl, combine pumpkin and corn syrup.
  • 4 mix into dry ingredients.
  • 5 add cream and eggs; mix until well combined.
  • 6 pour the mixture in an unbaked, 10-inch pie shell.
  • 7 bake 45 minutes.
  • 8 cool and serve with fresh whipped cream.
